Directions to Finca Los Llanos and Casa Los Olivos From Malaga Airport
Exit the airport - you will come to a big roundabout with the huge San Miguel beer factory on the other side - head over the roundabout towards this, keeping on the right hand side.
Take the first exit (don't go up and over the flyover as this would take you into Malaga). This first exit will bring you onto the dual carriageway - again keep to the right as you want the first exit - signed Cartema, Alhaurin, Churriana, Parador del Golf. After this exit you need to follow Churriana signs.
This will bring you to the first of two big roundabouts with Churriana written on the side. Turn up into the dual carriageway (the sea is directly behind you at this point) and keep to the right as at the second roundabout you need to turn right - signed Churriana Cartama
Keep going now over about 5 roundabouts (I say about because they are doing road works for the new ring road and they are putting in small roundabouts just when I am not looking) - until you come to the roundabout signed A357 Campillos exit at 9 o'clock. Take this exit which is the slip road up to the A357 on your left. (Ignore earlier signs for A357 to Malaga as this would take you in the wrong direction).
Now you are on the A357 keep going until you see the exit for Alora. Take this and at the first T junction turn right.
Keep going past the new access road up to Alora - you will see the castle up on the hill to your left - but keep going and the road will bend away from the hill around to the right - you will pass GGG Brijojardin on your right. Keep going a bit further and you come to another T junction with Los Caballos - a big big restaurant - on your left hand side.
Turn left here and follow the road over a little bridge and on to a roundabout. Take the second exit signed Alora 3 km.
Follow this up the hill past the rail station (FFCC) on your right hand side, and then past the petrol station on your left. At the roundabout with the stone arch and fake grass (yes fake grass!!) take the 1st exit signed El Chorro. Set your km trip from here and we are 3 km (on the left) from the roundabout.
You will go through some new housing, a smart modern looking sports centre on your right hand side and into the valley area - There is a 3 km sign on your right hand side - the sign has come off the post and rests on it on the ground - and if you look across to your left there is a property in the curve of the bend with trees around the entrance. This is the old house and Casa Los Olivos is behind it.
The entrance is up a short drive to a large flat green sliding gate between two pillars with black lamps on top of them. Ring the bottom buzzer and we will open the gate. This gate serves two properties - and we will give you the keys together with the keys to Casa Los Olivos.
The house will be ready for you from 4.00 pm-
